Receive a solid grounding in meditation, pranayama (breathing), yoga philosophy and physical alignment in the foundation postures of a hatha yoga practice. This course unfolds at a relaxed pace with the total newbie to yoga in mind. Each week includes an alignment lab (mini-workshop) on one of the key poses of Surya Namaskar A (sun salutations). Over the 6 week series we weave the poses together into a flowing sequence.
